Course Details

Course Module includes:

In-depth study of three Ragas, Thaat System, Rhythm and Rhythmic structure, Listening and analyais, Performance sessions, film/video screening.

Vocal:

Training through exercises; Breath control and Voice modulation techniques; Specially designed listening and interactive sessions; Lyric-Tune Synergy analysis.

Flute:

Technical aspects of Flute, like proper finger placement, Breath control, Sound production, Gamak, Sapaat, Murki and many more.

General:

Sessions in Pranayam, meditation & Chanting; Spiritual talks, Introductory Sanskrit; Performance by Guest Artists followed by Lecture-Demonstrations; Field Trip (Alandi)

Additional experiences:

Trekking to the neighbouring Sahyadri hills, Aarti at Pranav Ganesh & Chinmaya Maruti Temples, Hygienically prepared delicious 'sattvic' meals.
