Sruthi Radhakrishnan

Shruti Raadhakrishnan, a Third year B.Com student of the M O P Vaishnav College, Nungambakkam has been learning Bharathanatyam for the past 12 years at Kalasagara. Her Gurus Smt. Malathy Thothadri and Smt. Usha Raghavan have guided her through these years with a highly systematic teaching schedule which is instrumental in her reaching this milestone.

Her Arangetram was held on 24th March 2004 at the Ramarao Kala Mandap, Chennai and she has performed in several places since then.

Her solo performances include

• June, 2007 : Rasaarangam, a unit of Triplicane Arts and Cultural
   Trust (TACT) at Varasiddhi Vinayakar temple

• December, 2006 : Nungambakkam Cultural Academy (Rama Rao
   Kala Mantap)

• December, 2006 : At Mylapore Fine Arts Club

• October, 2006 : Rasika Ranjini Sabha (At R.K Swamy Hall)

• December 2005 : Kapali Fine Arts (Dakshinamurthy Auditorium)

• October 2004 - 2005 : Nadhadhwani (R K Swamy Auditorium)

She has also been part of several group performances like

• Meenakshi Kalyanam - A Dance Drama choreographed by Smt.
   Malathy Thothadri at Obul Reddy Hall

• Thyagarajarin Ramabhakthi – A Dance Drama choreographed by
   Smt. Malathy Thothadri at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, under the
   auspices of Kapali Fine Arts.

• Sri Andal Vaibhavam – A Dance Drama choreographed by Smt
   Malathy Thothadri at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, under the
   auspices of Sri Kapali Fine Arts.

• Golden Jubilee celebrations of The Tamil Nadu Music College.

• Ari Ayan Ariya Ayan Magan - A Dance Drama choreographed by
   Smt Malathy Thothadri at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, under the
   auspices of Sri Kapali Fine Arts.
